SamsonHe is our newest rescue from Texas. Samson is a 7 year old AQHA Stallion. He is very sick and is currently stuck in a Medical facility in order to get better before he can come home! Please consider donating towards him. He's such a sweet soul. |
BettyOur sweet old girl Betty is still available for a retirement home. Betty is mid 20’s. She would love to go somewhere she will get lots of scratches. Betty is easy to deal with. |
MollyMy sweet sweet Molly! This big girl is a whole 17.2 & wide as a tank. She loves to have her ears and head scratched on. She looks to be foundered so she has some bumps and lumps that need attention. I have ridden this big girl twice bareback and other then a little spunky moment she seems to be a solid citizen. |
The Bonded by Strength Equine Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and at-risk equines. We provide shelter, care, medical and rehabilitation services to equines in need, and whenever possible, we place them in loving and permanent homes. Equines that cannot be placed are given permanent sanctuary so that they may live the remainder of their lives in safety and dignity.
With the aging of the Baby Boomer generation, equines have gone from being members of the family to the subjects of “downsizing” for economic or health reasons. Many of them have little or no market value and are subject to neglect by owners lacking their previous health or finances. Often these situations may lead to the livestock sales, auctions or kill pens. BBSER assists at-risk equines that we have the resources to reach, and educate owners and the community on preventative care, in order to reduce the overall numbers of equines at risk or in urgent need.

We take in equines from all over the country. We try to rescue close to home, however many times we find ourself from taking in some of the most critical rescues from the southern states.
